This year we would like to increase the focus on childrens' health - most importantly, on their teeth.

There is no kind of yearly teeth cleaning or upkeep. Very little funds are available from the government and only for taking care of emergencies.

The situation is desperate.

You can help children get dental care for as little as $10 a check-up and repairing a few cavities would only cost about $20. According to the director of the orphanage, 30 children are in desperate need of dental work, and at least 100 need some kind of work done this year.

You can also help by sending toothbrushes and dental floss to be distributed among the children.

VOLUNTEER TO TEACH ENGLISH!

Kids ask for English lessons all the time. The knowledge of English language is essential to getting a better life in Ukraine. The level of English  taught at their school is poor.

Needed September through May

Volunteer for any number of months

There is no fee to do this. You will have to cover airfare to Ukraine and you might have to pay a small stipend to your host family.

Travel abroad to teach English in the orphanage, be part of the change you want to see in the world.

VOLUNTEER TO DO A FUNDRAISER!

Donations from local fundraising events greatly help fund our projects.

Art show, bake sale, car wash, dinner party, fun run, Ukrainian cookout - get your family involved and spread the word.

SEND GENTLY USED CLOTHES AND SHOES DIRECTLY TO THE ORPHANAGE

Ask your local school to do a "gently used" clothes collection for your cause. Ask your church, knitting club or yoga class. We will provide pictures of the packages at the orphanage, you can in turn provide them to your donors.
